Clay Pidgeon Shoot


Alistair Evans was the top gun at the annual Hereford Lions Club clay shoot at Checkley Gun Club’s shooting ground, winning the Lions Cup for a maximum score in the 30 bird sporting competition.
Runner up was Lee Betts who also won the ‘pool’ for gaining most points in all competitions at the shoot.

In the down the line competition four of the 70 guns taking part shared the honours – Alistair Evans, Paul Serri, Roy Gudrat and Chris Moule.

The event raised £571 for Lions charities.
